Pelvic Floor Health

Franklin Method Vail Colorado. Improve your well being with movement, mindfulness and imagery. Gently movement can increase flexibility, strength and balance.

What is your pelvic floor? Where is it?

Did you know there are many different layers in the pelvis and they all can be trained?

When most people talk about the pelvic floor they mean the pelvic diaphragm, aka Lavator Ani muscles. But there is so much more to it.

You have multiple layers of fascia and muscles that create a complex support system, dealing with holding organs in but also letting go to eliminate and having babies. So it needs to be strong and hold but also being able to let go and be soft. Kudos to the pelvic floor to be able to do that!

Usually we don’t ever think about the Pelvic Floor unless we start to have some disfunction, like a leaky bladder or prolapse (when the pelvis floor doesn’t hold the organs in anymore) or when we have pain down there.

Your Pelvic floor health is an integral part of vitality.

Ever wondered what a Kegel excercise really is? Or why should you care about it? What even is the pelvic floor?

Exploring the pelvis, feeling the bone rhythms of the hip, the muscles and ligaments and the layers of the pelvic floor can greatly improve its function

Learning how everything moves together and interconnects with the rest of your body. For instance, every breath you take influences it.

Try to cough and see what your pelvic floor is doing? Did you feel it? It engaged to uphold the pressure in your abdomen. It is even inter-connected with core strength and low back issues.

Seems like it’s pretty important!

Understanding the layers is crucial to maintaining its strength, function and flexibility.

In my pelvis floor course we get to learn all the different layers and how to move and improve them.

Cleansing and Detoxing

Cleansing and Detoxing

We all know that we are living in an increasingly toxic world. Never giving our body enough rest to heal and rejuvenate. Our organs are doing the best they can but can only do so much with the resources given, eventually resulting in discomfort while aging, pain and too much inflammation throughout the body.

I suggest doing a cleanse at least two times a year. Think Liver, Lymphatics, Gut and Kidneys! Maybe even combining it with a fast to give your body some much needed rest and time to heal itself. Intermittent fasting can be a great option too.

I have recently done a cleanse by ZenCleanz, the rainbow cleanse to be specific, and it was incredible to see the changes in my body. This cleanse works with fermented enzymes to help you achieve a deeper result.

It started with an intestinal cleanse followed by a liver cleanse. I decided to fast while doing the cleanse, which was hard but the benefits certainly outweighed the discomfort.

This company has a 5 Element detox and rejuvenation system to help you on your healing journey. I can only recommend doing their cleanse.

Halotherapy

Halotherapy, aka dry salt therapy at Aquarian Uprising

What is Halotherapy?

Dry Salt Therapy, also known as Halotherapy, is a holistic treatment which reproduces the unique microclimate that is found in natural salt caves like the ones in Europe.

It is effective in treating a variety of upper and lower respiratory tract disorders and skin conditions, meaning it is great for your Sinuses and Lungs.

It is often called the toothbrush of your Lungs because it has an amazing cleansing effect.

The nano-particles of the Salt reach the deepest area of the lungs absorbing bacteria and pollutants and providing an anti-inflammatory and cleansing effect. This process supports and strengthens the body’s immune system by eliminating toxins and allergens that are trapped within the mucus lining of the respiratory system.

The negative ions in the room improve your mood, leaving you calm and refreshed. 45 minutes in the room is equivalent to spending 3 days on the beach, that’s how many negative ions you pick up in the salt room!

Salt Therapy is completely safe.  It is a 100% drug-free, non-invasive, comfortable treatment with no side effects or potential health hazards, making it an amazing therapy to add to your health routines.

Come check out our Himalayan Salt Room at Aquarian Uprising, relax, rejuvenate and improve your well being.

Red Light Therapy

It all begins with an idea.

Different light wavelengths can stimulate the body's natural healing processes. Just like sunlight does.

Most notably, Red Light (R+) and Near Infrared ( NIR+) light can increase energy production within cells. In many cases, this has a positive ripple effect on the body.

Each cell has tiny organelles called mitochondria. Photo receptors on your mitochondria capture photons of red and near-infrared light, in response the mitochondria will produce energy ( ATP) more efficiently. As individual cells become energized, they begin to function better.

In essence, red light therapy can offer improved well-being at the cellular level.

Red light therapy is also known for its ability to boost collagen production. It stimulates fibroblasts to produce more collagen and elastin, improving skin strength, elasticity and plumpness, reducing fine lines and wrinkles.

Red Light therapy has been shown to reduce inflammation. This includes relief from inflammatory skin disorders, including mild to moderate acne and psoriasis. Increased circulation also helps faster muscle recovery after intense exercise or injury, weight loss and chronic inflammation.

RLT also has neurological benefits, helping with traumatic brain injury, stroke , depression, memory problems, dementia and Alzheimer’s.
